Ruiz Ibán is currently the Head of the Shoulder and Elbow Unit in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology in Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal, in Madrid, Spain. He received his medical degree in Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Programme at the Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal. He completed his PhD, focused in the biomechanics of the lower lumbar spine and pelvis, at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Madrid. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Management of Specialist Care Units at the European Institute of Health and Social Wellbeing. He is an active ESSKA member since 2010. Dr Ruiz Ibán has lectured extensively at national and international meetings. He has authored numerous books, chapters and abstracts. He has published more than 50 papers in indexed, international peer reviewed journals, including Arthroscopy, American Journal of Sports Medicine, KSSTA, Clinical Drug Investigation, Orthopedics and others. |

At George Washington Hospital, Dr. Faucett serves as the Director of The Hip Preservation Center. He is also a team physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard team and former team physician for The George Washington University Colonials. Dr. Faucett obtained his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and later completed his residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He was then selected for The Steadman Clinic’s prestigious fellowship in Vail, CO. During his fellowship, Dr. Faucett trained in hip arthroscopy and complex knee repairs.
