Introduction
In this educational module, a panel of experienced international orthopeadic surgeons discuss the epidemiology of a proximal humerus fracture and present and discuss cases with practical guidance on the different types of surgical treatments; plate fixation, intramedullary nailing, and reverse shoulder arthroplasty procedures.

An understanding of shoulder anatomy and a basic knowledge of treatment options for a proximal humerus fracture
