Overview
Introduction
This module will provide learners with the history, the concept and the philosophy of the POLAR3◊ total hip system. Experts will drive us through the system specifics as well as their own experience. Finally, you will also review the latest evidence for POLAR3.
Pre-requisites
- A good understanding of the basic principles of Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA)
What you will learn
- Describe the history and the philosophy of the POLAR3 total hip construct
- Gain knowledge on the materials and design of the POLAR3 system components and explain how and why they can optimise patient outcomes and survivorship
- Review the available evidence for the use of POLAR3 in primary Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA)
