In this educational module, learners will gain knowledge in fracture management of hip and acetabular fractures.

Pre-requisites

A basic understanding of hip anatomy and trauma related surgery

What you will learn

Learn the epidemiology and anatomical considerations of hip fractures, specifically neck of the femur fractures
Describe the various classification systems for neck of femur fractures
Explain the various types of injury mechanisms in a pelvis/acetabular fracture
Review complex fracture pattern classification systems
